Yeah. That just happened. A sudden idea becomes creation! It's beautiful how vast the internet is!
This section is where I am going to list my mini goals. The purpose of this section is to incorporate different healthy activities/habits into my everyday life at a slow pace. After I achieve a goal, I will try to continue to keep it up as well. Once an achievement is unlocked I will link it to the video blog that it corresponds with. Also, once I achieve the goal a new, more challenging one will appear.. I'm working on setting goals on a weekly basis as well as a monthly basis. This is a constant work in progress as I continue to add goals and achievements to this page. If you have any suggestions for something fun or challenging to do for a period of time you have plenty of options. You could comment on a blog post, you could start a forum discussion, OR head over to the "Contact Me" section and send me an email! What I have thought of so far is:
Weekly Goals
- Walk for an hour a day 4 days out of the week
- Take a Yoga Class
- Drink 8 glasses of water a day for the entire week
- Do 50 pushups and crunches as soon as you wake up
- Take a spinning class
- Jog for 10 minutes 3 days out of the week and walk at least an additional 20 minutes between
- Do not eat any fast food for the entire week
- Do 100 Jumping Jacks right after you wake up 4 days or more out of the week
- Do not drink any soft drinks or juices for the entire week (smoothies are okay)
- Maintain a calorie budget for the entire week
- Learn to swim properly
Monthly Goals
- Accumulate 30 miles walking
- Accumulate 30 miles biking
Goals for the Future
- Lose twenty pounds
- Ride a Roller coaster
- Walk/Jog/Run a Marathon
- Learn to Surf
- Hike the Grand Canyon
- Complete the Stairs Challenge at Runyon Canyon (Bottom to top no stopping.)
- Complete the 9 week* Frank to 5k Challenge!
- Run a 5k race
