To top that off, my numbers didn't dwindle after I hit the three mile mark. Between Friday and Saturday I pulled off a .08 mile difference at the 30 minute mark. That distance between the two days increased at the end by another .03 miles. If you compare days one and two you'll notice that there's a .09 mile difference at the 30 minute mark but at the end of it, that lead dwindled down to .03 miles. Day three I was able to keep a consistent pace and really push myself through completely to the end of the run. The progress that I've made has been incredible! Every week you saw me in awe of the new heights that I achieved. Each week my weight goes to new lows. Ten weeks ago when I started this whole thing, I imagined myself struggling to get to the three mile mark. I focused mostly on being able to run for 30 minutes consistently. Now I know that I can hit 3 miles while running so it becomes a challenge to run faster and further each time!
Next week is the finale! I am entering week nine of the Frank to 5k running program. I will be on the elliptical for 40 minutes. I'll be running for 30 of those minutes. I'm going to note the distance at the point that I start running so that I can find the exact distance I go while running for 30 minutes consecutively. Tuesday can't come soon enough!
