Overall, this was a very satisfying week for me! I'm very pleased that I am starting to sink into a consistent performance with the distance I run. That means my body is adjusting to the patterns and then tuning in to the output needed to sustain it. I'm getting a rhythm. I'm really starting to like running. I like working out in general cause I feel better about myself after each time. This week I noticed in the locker room that the veins were popping out on the back of my hands after running. I've never noticed that ever before in my life! It just makes me feel powerful! Progress is showing everywhere from stats to weights to times to how my clothes fit and my face looks and the energy I have! What makes this so amazing to me is that a month and a half ago I started out just being able to walk at 2 mph and 3 mph was a chore. I look forward to next week's challenging upgrade. In case you're wondering and don't want to look for it this will be my schedule on MWF:
00:00-5:00: Warmup walk
5:00-6:30: Run
6:30-8:00: Walk
8:00-11:00: Run
11:00-14:00: Walk
14:00-15:30: Run
15:30-17:00: Walk
17:00-20:00: Run
20:00-23:00: Walk
23:00-28:00: Cooldown Walk
So I'll be working up to 3 minutes running...... ....... ........ *shoulder shrug* Lets do it!
